While my friends couldn't shut up about how crazy good those 8bit graphics were, I was thinking they were complete crap. For me, I knew that games on my Atari 2600 looked like complete ass. I can clearly remember talking with my friends about how exciting it's gonna be when games begin to look real. At least 38 years! Gaming is finally beginning to catch up to the dreams of my past 6-year-old self. Because I'm 44, I've been playing Star Wars games for a very long time. As long as Disney decided to keep politics and all of that other over-the-top woke nonsense out of this game, I'm expecting it to be a banger just like it's predecessor. Aside from KOTOR, this new Jedi series is my favorite Star Wars game. Jedi: Fallen Orders' performance was good from the get-go. I trust that Jedi: Survivor will perform decently at launch. One guy mentioned that it's a complete night and day difference with the PS5 if you play the game without the day 1 patch. While all platforms are reported to be a bit janky, the PS5 version seems to be the jankiest, and the day 1 patch will fix all of that janky bs. It's still relevant to the other platforms. I've read and watched a few videos that the day 1 patch mainly applies to the PS5. Not that I think something is terribly wrong, or the game won't launch when that monumental moment arrives. Yesterday, it jumped to 70, and today, it's 102.5 GB. I'm on the Series S and showing only 102.5 GB? There are so many gamers, all with different results.
